Winner of the DGWC in 2017, Lovely are a formidable country regardless of who their team includes. Boasting the title of smallest nation to partake in Danger Golf, they are truly greater than the sum of their parts.
Controversy never stays far away from this nation. They were one of the rogue nations to compete in the disputed 2011 championships. Folklore says that Lovely were the victors on that tragic day that almost tore the sport in half.
An intro to the players...
Sir Stuart Goodman is a DGWC Founding Father who focusses on playability. He is often the first to judge whether a ball is playable or not and always facilitates the pre (and post) drink events. Despite a brief spell in the Irish team, Goodman has found his place within Lovely. His highlights include the amazing slo-mo fall of 2011.
Mr Whitehead has been in and out of the DGWC over the years, but made a spectacular comeback in 2014 with his outstanding performance in the warm up sessions. His lack of general awareness, drinking ability and vomit capacity was admired by all the athletes in the 2014 DGWC. He is a 2 time winner of the DGWC. First in 2010 with England and again in 2017 with his true nation Lovely.
Occasional player of the DGWC, Mr Turner is a previous winner having picked up the trophy in 2017. A very special year of the DGWC since it was played outside of Landor International. Mr Turner's celebrity status doesn't end here though. He is also well known in the city of Prague. You'll have to ask him for details though.
